Chara Leather Co. is Closing! (Temporarily :))

Yep that's right! It's time for this momma to step away from this little business for a time! It's not a sad thing, nor do I think it will be forever. It's just what God is calling me to do at the moment!

Other than the fact that 2020 hasn't gone as planned with summer markets, online sales, etc. there are two big reasons why I not going to do a Fall/Winter launch like I originally wanted to!

Reason number ONE: I'm going back to full time teaching for this semester! God made it pretty clear to me that this was the right thing to do, even though I thought I was done teaching for a long time. Because I know that it's His plans for me, I can't wait to get back in the classroom with my old kiddos and work with my old colleagues again! And for me personally, I know that I can't handle being a mom, teacher, wife and maker like a champ. 😅 Something has got to go! (And it's not my baby, husband, or teaching job ;)

Reason number TWO: We are expecting another little someone to join our family in January :) Evie is getting a sibling! We are SO excited! And I know that when I go back to being a stay-at-home mom in January, I'll want to focus on raising my two babies. I'll get back to making for business when I feel the timing is right. Hopefully next summer! But God has sure showed us all this year that in our hearts we can plan all we want (good things too!). But HE is the one that determines our steps!

Chara means JOY in Greek! And boy has this little business brought me joy! I hope that I have been able to share that with others, and am excited to continue to share joy in the future.
